BarCamp Jonesboro 2010

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, BarCamp Jonesboro, an un-corporate, un-conference for Geeks of all color, lineage, code, or creed.

What is BarCamp?

BarCamp is a gathering of knowledge and knowledgable people of all facets of design, development, marketing, and infrastructure thrown into a mix to decide what they want to learn about. There are presentations to be given in Software Development including iPhone and Android Applications, Web 2.0 development, UI development, and my favorite, CMS technologies and development. There are also presentations from successful marekting representatives, business owners, social networking gurus, and more.

Why BarCamp?

Why not? You will be exposed to valuable knowledge, free T-shirts, stickers, swag-bags, buttons, pens, lanyards, and food for a very low fee. Heck, you can donate a dollar and get in as well. We recommend that you purchase tickets in advance which are suitable for your needs so we can get a head count and not leave anyone out. We have the facilities for 450 campers, so rush in now and sign up.

Who is Participating?

Many big names are placing BarCamp Jonesboro in a position that no other BarCamp event has been. So far, we've collected sponsorships from names such as Arkansas State University, Adobe Systems, Appcelerator, Wordpress, BrightKite, Griffin, and so many more... I hear we may even be giving away over $4000 worth of software from Adobe! Word on the street says it will be CS5!
